How to Use a Gravity Bong
Fill the Base with Water
Place the bottom container (often a large bottle or bucket) on a stable surface.
Fill the container halfway with water, ensuring it has enough to submerge the smaller bottle but not overflow when you use it.
Prepare the Smaller Bottle
Insert the smaller bottle into the larger water-filled container. Keep the open mouth of the smaller bottle above the water’s surface.
Make sure the cap has a bowl piece attached, or if using a foil, poke small holes to create a bowl on the cap.
Loading with Flower (Grass)
Pack your ground flower into the bowl piece. Be careful not to pack it too tightly to ensure good airflow.
Light the flower while gently pulling the smaller bottle upward. This will pull the smoke into the smaller bottle as it fills with air.
Once the smaller bottle is nearly out of the water, stop pulling.
Inhale the Smoke
Remove the cap or bowl piece from the smaller bottle.
Put your mouth over the opening and gently push the smaller bottle back down into the water, forcing the smoke into your lungs.
Using Dabs with a Gravity Bong
Prepare the Dab
Heat a dab nail or banger until it reaches the desired temperature (use a torch to heat it properly).
Wait 30-40 seconds for the nail to cool slightly, so the dab doesn't burn too fast.
Dab the Nail
Place the heated nail onto the top of the gravity bong, where the bowl piece would normally be.
Slowly pull up the smaller bottle while applying your dab concentrate onto the hot nail with a dab tool, allowing the smoke to collect in the bottle.
Inhale the Dab Smoke
Once the bottle is full, remove the dab nail, and push the smaller bottle back into the water to inhale the smoke, just like with flower.
Important Tips:
For Grass: Use medium-ground flower for the best airflow and smoking experience. Avoid overpacking.
For Dabs: Ensure the nail or banger isn’t too hot to prevent harsh hits. Always use a dab tool for handling concentrates.
